"Five years ago, beside my father's hospital bed, I began drafting what would become SINEM Afrique Medical. He had been diagnosed with osteomyelitis, and the advice we received in Cameroon was devastating: amputate the leg before the infection spread.
We sought a second opinion abroad. Doctors told us the condition was far less severe than we had been made to believe. Instead of amputation, they treated him with surgical drainage and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. The treatment worked. That moment changed everything for me.
I realized too many patients in Cameroon suffer not because their conditions are untreatable, but because modern orthopedic care, rehabilitation equipment, and specialized treatment options remain out of reach. SINEM exists to bridge that gap — bringing quality equipment closer to patients and helping hospitals support recovery with dignity.
Today, SINEM Afrique Medical supplies modern orthopedic and physiotherapy equipment to major hospitals and rehabilitation centers across Cameroon, while building toward a future tele-orthopaedics platform and a modern physiotherapy and rehabilitation center.
